What the status of your site means

In build, in review, live — and what you can do at each.

Your site moves through a few states. What you can do depends on which one it is in, and the dashboard always tells you which.

State	What it means	What you can do
In build	We are building it.	Nothing yet. We will tell you when there is something to look at.
In review	It is built and we would like your comments.	Look at it, and leave notes on anything you want changed. You cannot edit it yet.
Awaiting final payment	You have approved it; the balance is due.	Same as review. Paying the invoice opens everything.
Live	It is your website, on the internet.	Everything: edit, publish, upload, change the look, run the shop.
Past due	A payment is late.	Everything still works. Please pay the invoice — after a while the site comes down, and nobody wants that.
Suspended	The site is off.	You can still sign in and see your invoices. The site shows a holding page until the account is settled.
