Publishing later

Write it on Sunday, publish it on Tuesday.

There is no separate “schedule” button, because there does not need to be one. Set the status to Published and put a date in the future. The post stays invisible until that moment and then appears on its own.

Until then your list shows it as Scheduled, with the date it will go live. Nothing has to be running and nobody has to remember: the post is simply not visible until its date has passed.

To bring it forward, change the date to now.
To hold it back, change the date to later.
To stop it going out at all, set it back to Draft.

Unpublishing a post keeps its original date, so putting it back does not shuffle it to the top of your blog and out of order.
