Invoices and the monthly bill

Invoices lists everything. Anything outstanding has a Pay button that opens Stripe's own page; we never take a card number ourselves and we never store one.

• A deposit before the build starts. You see it, and agree to it, at the end of onboarding. It is not refundable and no work begins before it clears.
• The balance when the site is ready. Paying it puts the site live and sends your sign-in.
• A monthly amount after that, for hosting and looking after it.

If your monthly price is ever going to change, you are told in writing well in advance, with the old figure, the new figure and the date. You will see it in the dashboard and in an email, and you have the right to cancel rather than accept it. Nothing changes quietly.
