Putting the blog on your pages
Latest posts on the home page, and the sections that do it.
Your blog already has its own address, and everything under it is made for you: the list of posts, a page per post, a page per topic and per writer, and a year-by-year archive. You do not have to build any of that.
What you may want is a piece of the blog on a page you did build. In the page editor, add one of these:
| Section | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Post grid | Cards. “Latest from the journal” on a home page. |
| Featured post | One article, large. The top of a blog page. |
| Post list | A compact dated list. Good for a narrow column. |
| Post carousel | A row that scrolls sideways. |
| Topics | Browse by subject. |
| Author | Who writes this — on an About page, say. |
| Archive | Everything, by year. |
| Search the blog | A search box and its results. |
All of them keep themselves up to date. Put “Post grid” on your home page once and it shows your three newest posts forever, without you touching it again.
