Topics and writers
Sorting the blog, and putting a name to a post.
Topics
A topic is a subject you write about more than once — “Recipes”, “Behind the scenes”, “What is on this week”. Each one gets its own page listing everything filed under it, and readers can browse by topic from your site.
A handful is plenty. Twenty topics with one post each is not a way of sorting anything, and the empty ones are hidden from visitors so they never click through to nothing.
Tags
Tags are the loose version: type anything, separated by commas. Use topics for the few subjects you come back to, and tags for everything else.
Writers
If more than one person writes, add them under Writers. A writer has a photograph, a line about what they do, a short biography and their own links, and they get a page listing everything they have written.
Removing a writer does not remove their posts. The posts keep their text and their date and simply stop naming somebody.
