Editing your website

Sections: the blocks a page is made of

What each kind of block is for, and how to rearrange them.

A page is a stack of blocks. An opening at the top, some services, a gallery, a contact form. Each one is edited on its own and can be moved up and down, hidden, or removed.

  • Drag the handle to reorder. On a phone, use the up and down buttons — they do the same thing.
  • Hiding a section takes it off the page without deleting what is in it. Useful for a seasonal offer.
  • Adding a section puts it at the bottom; move it where you want it.

The list of what you can add is long and deliberately varied: opening statements, services, menus, prices, timetables, galleries, before-and-after sliders, staff, testimonials, questions and answers, opening hours with a live “open now”, events, downloads, videos, maps, countdowns, and a good deal more. If something you want is not there, ask — it usually becomes a new kind of section that everybody then gets.
