AlderSetting up the shop
From nothing to taking your first order, in order.
If your site has a shop, there is a Shop link on its page. Everything about selling is behind it.
- Connect your Stripe accountShop, then the “Taking payments” panel, then Connect with Stripe. It opens Stripe in a new tab and takes about five minutes: your business details and a bank account. We never see any of it.
- Set up deliveryShop, then Delivery. At least one zone with at least one rate, or nothing that needs posting can be bought. Collection in person counts as a rate.
- Add your productsShop, then Products. Name, description, photographs, then price and stock. Leave them as drafts until you are happy.
- Check the settingsShop, then Settings: tax, what you say about posting and returns, and whether you want reviews.
- Open the shopShop, then Open the shop. Until you do, the catalogue is hidden.
