Journal
A writing-led site: a blog with a real page for every post, topics, a back catalogue, and a feed people can follow.
- Its colours
- Young Serif type
- soft corners
- outline buttons
The live demo, on any phone: journal-demo.aldersites.com
Who it suits
- Makers and studios who write about the work
- Consultants building an audience before a pitch
- Local publications and newsletters
- Any business whose marketing is actually writing
What it can do
- Every post is a real page, with its own address, a picture when it is shared, and a place in the list Google reads.
- Topics, bylines and a year-by-year archive, all generated from the posts themselves.
- A search that works with JavaScript switched off, because every view has an address.
- A feed at /feed.xml, so readers can follow in a reader app without handing over an email.
- Drafts and scheduled posts: write on Sunday, publish on Tuesday.
