Atelier
A hushed, expensive site for an interior design practice: framed photographs, small capitals, one sentence said loudly.
- Its colours
- Cormorant type
- sharp corners
- ghost buttons
- a mesh behind every page
- content fades in
- headings arrive word by word
The live demo, on any phone: atelier-demo.aldersites.com
Who it suits
- Interior design practices
- Architects and landscape designers
- Furniture makers and galleries
- Anyone whose work should be looked at slowly
What it can do
- The Luxe look: wide-tracked capitals, ghost buttons, framed pictures, a narrow measure.
- A soft mesh of the practice's own colours behind the whole site, drifting slowly.
- A curved edge, a surface band and one accent band, so the page has a rhythm without a single hard line.
- Headings arrive a word at a time; everything else simply fades in. Nothing for anyone who asked for less motion.
- Projects with the numbers that mattered, and a team you can put a face to.
